Model X starts life as a prepainted shell a handful of plastic parts, but little else. As it rolls down the assembly line, the first order of business is to begin installing the wiring that runs equipment. Electronic components come next, followed by the dashboard. Combining these parts into one represents Bob Eco’s approach to streamlining its production process.
